Where is the giant Hornby box that she came right out of? That is an AWESOME PIC!! It's as though I can hear and see her dashing along the farmlands!!

I knew it was only a matter of time before one of the British railfans would finally post a picture of Tornado in blue. She got repainted in the middle of last month, so I'm surprised it took this long. :)

On the contrary, the project was not completed long before this tour. A matter of days.

They painted the Tornado BLUE?!??! Wow, it looks gorgeous!! Was it painted blue so they could just bolt a face on it and have it be an accurate Gordon? ;)

They'd need to give her red boiler stripes, take away the smoke deflectors, add splashers over the wheels, switch the round buffers for square ones, just to name a few of the changes if you want a real Gordon. Nonetheless, she does look impressive in blue.

Well yeah, but those are minor changes - enough that the layperson might not notice them. But the MAJOR things (like the class, and overall colour being correct) are there, which is pretty awesome. Even as-is, he's still a more accurate Gordon than a lot of other Railway Series character replicas I've seen out there...
